Girls rush in and out eager to get started with their fitness minutes. Coach Jones is excited to help girls find a schedule that works for them whether it’s during, before, or after school. When asked if she had any advice for girls to be motivated she replied, “get a set workout routine. Workout at certain times on certain days.”
She is putting her focus on girls getting healthy and doing workouts that suit them.
When you’re first beginning in the Crain Center, Coach Jones recommends to “use body weight, no resistance or strength. Do squats, pushups, and sit ups.”
“Fitness embodies the belief of how someone takes care of themselves, it teaches integrity, leadership, life long skills and qualities that everyone needs.” She loves being able to be a part of Hutchison and the athletic community. “It’s powerful and beautiful at the same time.”
