Freshman Garner Kimmel said, “I love studying on the mosaic patio because it’s very pretty but also it is calm and nice to be outside to work” For her, the mix of fresh air and colorfulness makes studying feel less like a task and more like a break from the classroom. Inside, the library offers a completely different kind of comfort. With its soft lighting, study rooms, and cozy bean bags, it’s a favorite for students who want to focus without distractions. Sophomore Malie Youngblood shared, “The library is my go-to spot. It’s quiet, and I can really get into my work there. The study rooms also make it easy to settle in for work and studying, especially with groups.”

Its tall windows and open layout make it a bright, lively space where people can work together or independently while still feeling connected to the buzz of campus life. Junior Piper Moss said, “I like the atrium because it’s open and full of light. I can focus, but it doesn’t feel too quiet or serious.” The theater lobby offers a similar balance. With its couches, large table, and spacious design, it’s perfect for group projects or solo work. Freshman Millie Kyle explained, “The theater lobby is one of my favorite places. It’s comfortable, and there’s always a good mix of quiet and activity.”
