Memphis welcomes a new store in Saddle Creek! Alo has been very popular recently and Memphis is finally getting one. Alo sells athletic wear,  lounge wear and other accessories. The store will be located where the old Banana Republic used to be. The store will be arriving November 14th!

Many people are very excited and can not wait. Stratton 28 expresses that she is “extremely excited especially to buy items in person and not just online”. Buying things online can sometimes be a hassle. Going straight to the store rather than waiting for the package to come in the mail can be more exciting. Alo is very trendy and many people in Memphis buy items off their website. Now people will not have to wait for their order and can just go straight to the store. Saddle Creek is already a very popular shopping center. Now a very well liked store that everyone wants to buy from is coming. People think that the center will now be very crowded. Sophomore Lily Woodmansee shares her opinion on the business of the area. She says “I do think it will be crowded but only in the area where the alo is located”. The store will bring a lot of people to the area and everyone is very excited.

Many people think that the store will be sold out in the first couple of days and it will take a while for everything to be back in stock. Emma Iskiwitz ’28 wants to go the very first day it opens to get all the items she wants. She says “I really don’t want to get there and everything is sold out. Therefore I will go to the opening day and hope they have what I want.” Alo is very popular and everyone loves athletic wear. In that case the store will probably be selling out fast and be very crowded.

The alo is a huge addition to the Saddle creek area and many people are ready for it to come! Although it might make the area busy it definitely will be worth it. Let’s all just hope that they aren’t all sold out!
